Sandton Montessori nurtures two distinct age groups, Toddlers (1-3) and Preschoolers (3-6). Each group has a designated classroom and playground facility tailored to their developmental needs. Our experienced teachers provide attentive, nurturing support, ensuring your child thrives safely within their own little learning community. All our facilities are monitored with 24hr camera surveillance.

Toddlers Class

  • For 1-3 years

  • Classroom Size: 20 max.

  • Teachers: 1 Head directress with 2 assistant directresses

  • Facility: central learning area; bathroom & diaper changing room; sleeping beds; designated toddler playground and sandpit area and Wendy house.

  • Extra Mural Activities: Clamber Club

  • Additional Care Services:

    Lunch Catering / After Care / Holiday Care / Giggles & Growth Play Lab

  • Academic Support Unit:

    Our academic support unit partners with specialists to provide Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Play Therapy, and Physiotherapy to ensure your child has maximum mental and physical growth.

Preschoolers Class

  • 2 Classes available

  • Classroom Size: 20 max.

  • Teachers: 1 Head directress with 1 assistant directress per class.

  • Facility: 5 learning areas; bathroom facilities; library; jungle gym and sandpit area; Wendy House.

  • English is the default language of instruction, but conversational Afrikaans & Zulu are provided from our Directresses.

  • Extra Mural Activities: Gymnastics, Karate, Soccer, Ballet, Computer Studies. (Chess & Drama are compulsory)

  • Additional Care Services:

    Lunch Catering / After Care / Holiday Care / Giggles & Growth Play Lab

  • Academic Support Unit:

Who are my child’s teachers?

All our directresses are accredited practitioners with the South African Montessori Association (SAMA) and are certified in first-aid response to ensure child safety throughout their learning journey. All our teachers conducting extra murals with the children are also accredited practitioners.
